Thank you so much to both Heidi Tobias Wong and Azure Collier of Constant Contact for their participation in yesterday’s #TwitterROI chat.

Heidi & Azure have been working with our Optimizer for Twitter platform during our Early Access program to gain value from and measure aspects of their Twitter marketing campaigns. Constant Contact provides small organizations affordable, easy-to-use Engagement Marketing tools that help create and grow customer relationships. Both Heidi and Azure have extensive knowledge and experience in traditional, online and social media marketing and did a wonderful job sharing their personal social media integration strategies for email marketing!

Signal, Noise & Optimizer for Twitter

Posted in Big Data, Early Access program, Optimizer for Twitter, Social Intelligence, Twitter Marketing by Chris Selland on August 11th, 2011

There’s a terrific post on John Battelle’s blog entitled Twitter and the Ultimate Algorithm: Signal Over Noise (With Major Business Model Implications).

I find Twitter to be one of the most interesting companies in our industry, and not simply because of its meteoric growth, celebrity usage, founder drama, or mind-blowing financings. To me what makes Twitter fascinating is the data the company sits atop, and the dramatic tension of whether the company can figure out how to leverage that data in a way that will insure it a place in the pantheon of long-term winners – companies like Microsoft, Google, and Facebook.

We share that fascination and, practically every day, speak to marketers who are struggling with balancing the opportunity and problem with Twitter.

  • Opportunity – an ever-increasing number of my customers, competitors & key influencers are initiating & participating in conversations on Twitter that I should be paying attention to and engaging in.
  • Problem – those customers, influencers & conversations are increasingly difficult to find, and I simply don’t have the time or resources to sift through all the noise to do so.

This is exactly the problem we built Optimizer for Twitter to solve. We designed our platform to help marketers sift through the haystack and find the ‘needles’ of importance and insight, while minimizing the time and resources needed to do so.

Battelle states:

In short, it’s a really, really, really hard problem. But it’s a terribly exciting one.

We couldn’t agree more.

We are wrapping up our Private Early Access program this month and will be accepting applicants for our V1 product which will be released on September 7. We will also soon be announcing an exciting program for any qualified customers who apply for a 30-day trial prior to our September 7 launch date, and any company who requests a trial prior to that date will be eligible.*

So if you haven’t already done so, request a trial today – and start focusing your marketing efforts on the signal, not the noise.

*Trials will be provisioned as they are approved by Terametric, for qualified customers and partners, beginning on September 7, 2011.

A Quick Update on our Early Access Program

Posted in Early Access program, Optimizer for Twitter, Social Media Marketing by Chris Selland on May 14th, 2011

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on our Early Access Program.

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who has requested the ability to try out Optimizer for Twitter – we have received thousands of inquiries and are overwhelmed with the enthusiasm for our product.

We have launched the Early Access program and are beginning to roll out Optimizer for Twitter to a select number of customers. At this point in time, however, we are intentionally keeping the number of Early Access customers relatively small and tightly controlled, since it is our goal to interact personally with each customer at least weekly for the next few weeks & months as we refine our analytic models and iron out any other issues.

In other words, if we haven’t invited you to ‘go live’ yet, we have not forgotten about you – we will be expanding the scope of the program throughout the next few months.

We are also working on an exciting new offering designed for smaller businesses and organizations and will be approaching many of you to help us field-test that product as we roll it out.

So please stay tuned – we have a lot of exciting opportunities coming down the pipeline, and I am personally looking forward to getting to know you and your organization(s) and discussing how Terametric can help optimize your Social Marketing initiatives.

In the meantime, if you’d like to see a demo or wish to discuss how our product(s) can benefit your organization and efforts, I invite you to contact me at your convenience.

Again, thank you – and let’s speak soon!
